Seed Trays & Plant Pots

Enviroline Ltd is a UK plastic recycling company that provides plastic recycling services to commercial customers and especially Nurseries and Garden Centres for their Plastic Seed Trays & Plant Pots.

In the main, we purchase baled plastic but we also specialize in recycling Seed Trays and Plant pots that have been separated and stacked tightly together

Seed Trays are normally made out of Polystyrene (PS) and Plant Pots or Bedding Pots as they are sometimes know are normally made from Polypropylene (PP) and in order to recytcle them efficiently and gain the highest price possible for them then they must be kept separate.

Recycling just one or two bales or bags of trays and pots at a time isn’t very effective as often the transport cost in fuel and CO2 emissions will significantly outweigh the benefits but if you have a large load you need taking away to recycle then we would be in a position to offer you a decent return for them.

The only requirement for recycling plastic seed trays and pots is that they have had the soil or compost removed as much as possible by banging it out or giving them a rinse beforehand.

Soil and compost are not compatible with recycling plastic and as such this type of product will have to be put through a wash plant to have the small amount of contaminant (soil & compost) removed properly.
